Box 1: contains drafts of a history of BICC (1973); a file labeled "Task Force"; training and personnel manuals; certificates; bylaws; budgets; minutes, etc. (ca. 1967-1973)
Box 2: contains 6 binders of material labeled "Executive Director's Report" (1970-1972); " Executive Committee Minutes" (1970-1975); " Minutes" (1970-1973); " Programs" (1970-1973); "Computer Match" (1971-1972); and " Finance and Budget" (1971-1972).
D.J. Henderson Papers
In addition to personal correspondence and papers, the collection reflects the breadth of the Hendersons’
interests with materials on engineering, the preservation of their house, and many organizations with which
they were involved.
A copy of an earlier inventory of the collection can be found in Box 10.
Effa Manley Private Business Papers
The Effa Manley Private Business papers consist primarily of correspondence, but also include lists, and a few bills and receipts. The bulk of the material is related to an apartment building owned by Effa Manley and members of her family in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and property owned by Abe Manley in Camden, New Jersey.
Gus Heningburg Papers
This collection consists of documents pertaining to Gus Heningburg, a Newark , NJ, based civil rights and community activist, and former head of the Greater Newark Urban Coalition.

This collection consists of fliers, photos, postcards, meeting minutes, receipts, correspondence, and other materials related to the Lincoln-Douglass Memorial Association, an African American political organization.
Newark Eagles Records
The Newark Eagles Records consist of correspondence, minutes, player contracts, team schedules and results, publicity material and financial records related to the Newark Eagles, a professional baseball team owned by Abe and Effa Manley. The Newark Eagles, based in Newark, New Jersey, played in the second Negro National League from 1936 through 1948. The records also include material related to the Manley’s involvement with the Negro National League.
